Kaileigh and Micah have been sweethearts since the Fall of 2017 and in January of 2021 they became forever sweethearts. Micah reached out to me last November to say that he was planning a special beach proposal for Kaileigh. This shoot was so special to me for a number of reasons- Kaileigh has been one of my best friends since high school. So when I found out a trip to visit her in California meant I got to be apart of one of the most special days of her life, naturally, I almost peed my pants (from excitement).
After dinner, a beach picnic was waiting for her with pictures, balloons, champagne, and a few of her closest friends. And of course, her mom. There was nothing incognito about the excitement from this crew on the sidelines and everyone couldn’t wait to rush them after she said yes. I haven’t seen tackling like that since the Superbowl 2020. After spending the sunset on the cliff looking out over the beach, they headed off to “the real dinner,” which to Kaileigh’s surprise was a house party full of their closest friends + family members that had traveled from all over to celebrate their engagement.
